Copyright Notice
The Journal of Kyrgyzstan Studies (JKS) upholds the principle that authors retain copyright of the works they publish in the journal. Copyright to all articles published in this journal remains with the authors; the journal exercises only the right of first publication.
By submitting an article to JKS, authors agree that their work will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows third parties to freely share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the work — for both commercial and non-commercial purposes — provided that appropriate credit is given to the author and to the original publication.
Authors are also free to share their work in institutional repositories, personal websites, and academic networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu, ORCID, etc.) without restriction. In such sharing, it is recommended that the publication details (journal name, volume, issue, page range, DOI) be included.
Authors declare that the submitted work has not been published elsewhere and is not simultaneously submitted to another journal, that all quotations and citations are properly attributed, and that any necessary permissions for third-party copyrighted materials have been obtained. Responsibility for the accuracy of this declaration rests with the authors.
