About the Journal

The Journal of Kyrgyzstan Studies (JKS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal publishing interdisciplinary academic studies in the fields of social and educational sciences with a focus on Kyrgyzstan. The journal aims to present original research that scientifically examines Kyrgyzstan’s social, cultural, historical, and educational structures to the international academic community.
