The Journal of Kyrgyzstan Studies (JKS) is an international, peer-reviewed, fully open-access academic journal published in Bishkek. It publishes interdisciplinary research that examines the social, cultural, historical, and educational fabric of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia through rigorous scholarly methods. The journal appears three times a year (April · August · December) and accepts manuscripts in English, Kyrgyz, Russian, and Turkish. No charges are levied on authors; all articles are published under a CC BY 4.0 licence.
